We also window shopped in Old Colorado City and went out for fondue at Mona Lisa's . It was a much anticipated weekend trip. I love my kids, but I love my get-a-ways with just me and that handsome husband of mine.

Skyline Drive
After our big race, Josh and I decided that we would make a day of it - just the two of us - kid free. For fun, we took a little road called Skyline Drive that prisoners from one of the local prisons built back in the 1930's. Very cool, but I would not recommend it if you are scared of heights since there are sheer drops on both sides of you! On the drive there are ancient dinosaur tracks that made us miss our little ones back home.
