Four weeks is a long time to ask a little girl to stay still. Movies, books, coloring and playdough have kept Sophie fairly entertained so far, but there are times when she just needs to get her energy out and gets a little rambunctious - which is very scary to us. I bought her a cute little pink helmet to make myself feel a little better about her playing. It still scares me though. That little woman is going to be so sick of me following her around 24/7 reminding her not to run or jump.We are continually reminded how blessed we are that Sophie's accident wasn't much worse then it was. She could have so easily ended up with a life altering condition. In fact just today I found out that she not only had one, but TWO fractures that were each about an inch long (why the ER docs didn't tell me this I have no idea)! Her guardian angles where watching her the day she "broke her skeleton."

Ooohhh! She is a tough one. She will be ok =) I love the helmet. I found a cute, pink one with ears if she wants another one to choose from =) I told Josh we will all wear helmets if that will help her =)
Linnea, that is so scary! I hope she gets better soon. she sure does look cute in her pink helmet!
OMG. That is so scary. Weird how they didn't mention the "other" fracture. Only Soapie could make a helmet a fashion statement. Now she just needs to put on her princess dress.
I'm glad that Sophia is all right. I do love that pink helmet. I hope she gets better soon.
Ouch! I'm so sorry. I hope she gets better soon.
I can't even immagine how scary that was/is. Hope she recovers well.
