15 hours of bonding

That's how much time we spent in our car on July 13th as we headed out west to our family reunions.

On the way there we decided to take a detour and visit Independence Rock and Martins Cove in Wyoming. Both Josh and I have relatives went through these historic locations as they traveled with other LDS pioneers looking for rest and peace.

The boys loved hiking the rock looking at the names that seemed to go on and on forever - if only we had known where to look for our ancestors names. Unfortunately, Josh had to stay with Sophia at the bottom because we didn't want to risk her head in another tumble.

Amazing site. Sad that some people have messed with it.

That scenery is amazing! There were many times when we were driving through Wyoming that I wanted to pullover and take a picture, but I think Kevin thought I was kidding :).
